S P A C E
for/by BIPOC
We gather to break the cycle of shared racial trauma by imagining and embodying a new world with Tibetan Buddhist practices.
S P A C E is an invitation to heal. There is no such thing as a safe space, but we can foster community with an intent to stop harming and to respond with love. We gather because we are open and willing to have uncomfortable conversations, because we agree that contradictions can coexist. We gather to ask questions, to answer questions, to debate and to study and practice with respect. We gather to observe, test and interact with Buddhist dharma within the context of a BIPOC experience. Join us to share without judgment, to remove the illusion of ‘other’ and to hold a mirror to one another.
