Kelsey Falter

Pronouns: All of them! I am whatever you see me as.

Her mentor said: "Meditating with Kelsey is a delight for the senses...especially my mind. She is generous with provocative cues, which electrify my attention in seemingly simple Breath & Basics meditations. Sitting with Kelsey is contemplative and comprehensive; her dedications always crack my heart open. The opening dharma talk is my favorite ~ her words are beautiful, but the real teachings spring from her piercing gaze."
Hometown: Born in Chicago, Raised in South Florida, Reborn in NYC!
Birthday/ Astro: Jan 8 / Double capricorn, Sag rising
Why Yoga/ Meditation/ Buddhism? What do you do when you see a little puppy limping around the house? You want to relieve its poor suffering, no? We are innately caring and compassionate beings. Buddhism helps me embrace the suffering in this world and use it as an opportunity to transform it like a magician. Raised as a Catholic, Buddhism allowed me to actually understand what the Church had been telling me before. And “Begging for a mountain of blessings” makes me cry like a baby.
Favorite place on earth: Cadeques, Spain or Habana, Cuba or anywhere where the sun shines on me (note I am not tan, I just like to reflect sun!)

Hidden Talent: I can Irish dance like Riverdance.
Guilty Pleasure: Honey and Le Labo laundry detergent (oops)
Pet Peeve: Not rinsing all the little bits down the drain in the sink after rinsing a dish
